Complément d'adresse :: Les recherches du département BAP s’inscrivent dans le domaine des sciences du végétal. Elles visent à produire des connaissances fondamentales et opérationnelles sur le fonctionnement des plantes en interaction avec leur environnement biotique et abiotique, en intégrant les différents niveaux d’organisation du vivant (de la molécule aux communautés), pour comprendre et optimiser le fonctionnement des agrosystèmes.
Missions :: In the landscape of INRA divisions working on plants and with the general purpose to contribute to the sustainable intensification of agriculture by producing both academic and operational knowledge, BAP is in charge of conducting research in plant science and plant breeding taking the plant local environment into account. Researches focus on many aspects of the plant’s life cycle, (i) from genes and genomes to plant development (from seed to seed) and their interaction with the environment, and (ii) from genetic diversity to plant breeding.
